1. Data we collect
- Account details: name, email, company, website URL and password (stored hashed) or Google sign-in identity.
- Website connections: the URL and credentials or tokens you provide to publish to your CMS (for example WordPress application passwords, Shopify tokens, Publish API Site ID and Signing Secret).
- Google Search Console data: with your permission, read-only performance data (clicks, impressions, CTR, position, queries, countries, devices) and index status for your verified properties.
- Content inputs and outputs: brand settings, topics, keywords, competitor URLs, drafts, images and published articles.
- Billing data: plan, invoices and GST details. Card and UPI details are collected by Razorpay, not by us.
- Free audit data: the website URL, business type and answers you enter, and your name and email if you ask us to email the report.
- Usage and device data: pages visited, actions in the app, IP address, browser type and cookies (see section 8).
2. How we use your data

- To create your account, verify your email and manage your subscription and invoices.
- To send service messages (publishing confirmations, failed connections, billing).
- To send product tips and offers, only if you agreed. You can unsubscribe at any time.
- To keep the service secure, prevent abuse (including misuse of the Free Pass) and fix bugs.
- To meet legal, tax and accounting obligations.
3. Google user data (Limited Use)
Rankix's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
- We request read-only access to Google Search Console.
- We use this data only to show you analytics and to add Google data to your Website Reports.
- We do not sell Google user data, use it for advertising, or let humans read it except with your consent, for security reasons or where required by law.
- We do not use Google user data to train generalised AI or machine learning models.
- You can revoke access at any time from your Google Account permissions page.
4. Legal basis and consent
We process your personal data on the basis of your consent and for legitimate uses permitted by law, such as providing a service you asked for, meeting legal obligations and keeping the service secure. You can withdraw consent at any time. Withdrawal does not affect processing already done, but some features may stop working.
5. Who we share data with
We do not sell personal data. We share it only with service providers who help us run Rankix, under contracts that require them to protect it:
- Cloud hosting and storage providers.
- AI model providers that process your content inputs to generate articles and images.
- Razorpay, for payments and subscriptions.
- Google, when you connect Search Console or sign in with Google.
- The publishing platforms you connect, to deliver your articles.
- Email delivery and analytics tools.
- Authorities, when required by law.
6. How long we keep data
- Website Reports: 7 days, then deleted automatically.
- Account, content and connection data: while your account is active, and deleted within 90 days of account closure, unless law requires us to keep it longer.
- Invoices and tax records: as long as Indian tax law requires.
- Free audit leads: until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them.
7. How we protect data
We use HTTPS for all traffic, signed requests for Publish API deliveries, access controls for our team and checks on every publishing connection. Payment data is handled by Razorpay, a PCI DSS compliant gateway. No method is 100% secure, but we work to protect your data and will notify you and the Data Protection Board of India of a personal data breach as the law requires. Read more on our Security page.
8. Cookies
We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and secure, and analytics cookies to understand how the website is used. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking essential cookies may stop parts of the app from working.
9. Your rights
You can ask us to access, correct, complete, update or erase your personal data, withdraw consent, and nominate another person to exercise your rights in case of death or incapacity. You can also raise a grievance with us, and, if not resolved, with the Data Protection Board of India. Email privacy@irizpro.com and we will respond within the time required by law.
